Lessons
Online or in-person
Lessons are taught in a one-on-one basis within a 40-minute timeframe. Small group workshops are also available and beneficial within a 60-75 minute format.
Lessons include sitting, standing, lying down, walking, and transitional movements. Primary attention is given to the poise of the head and the lengthening of the spine. Teachers use a gentle, guiding touch and verbal cueing. Students learn a variety of tools and self-care strategies and discover how to integrate the principles into their lives.
Students discover maximal benefits from weekly or twice weekly lessons. 8 to 12 lessons are recommended. Following this foundational period, students often continue with weekly or biweekly lessons, deepening their skills, or shift to a triweekly or monthly format for maintenance. Each student’s pathway is unique.
In-person lessons and online lessons are available. Though the in-person lessons allow for hands-on guidance, the online lessons are immensely valuable for receiving practical, self-care tools.
